Intermediate shaft bolts
 

Hey guys, im putting a b16a (jdm first gen.) into my eg hatch, now somewhere along the line i lost 2 out of the 3 intermediate shaft bolts and i need replacements, anyone know off the top of there head if i can use any spare 14mm ones, or are these special, i have a box of spare bolts, but nothing looks exactly like them...need some help guys, thanks

problem solved, found an extra set, thanks guys.

yeah i used all the same length, and it bolted up fine, so...............i dunno, anyway, still having problems putting in driver side axell female, into male intermediate shaft.......any tips would be appriciated

On some cars honda puts in different lengths on them. Did a transmission on this the other day so i had to remember this. (2001 accord v6)

any tips on how to get the driver side axell in? im still having problems getting it into the intermediate shaft, and into the hub.

i always like to get it onto the intermediate shaft first. I like to do this by having the intermediate shaft bolted into place and then in a perfectly parallel line (shaft to shaft) i try and stick in the axle. With that done then i go ahead and try to put it into the hub. Its easier for me to move the axle end into the hub and try to put in atleast just a little, then i grab the rotor and wiggle it in. You dont to try and force it in to rough.

any trick to get into intermediate shaft, shes not going in real good, mayber i got wrong axell....will try again tomarro. thanks guys.

When I put them on my car I installed the Intermediate shaft first and bolted it up....then put the axle on the the intermediate shaft, as far as it would go.....then go the other end into the hub......after that just push the hub back and it should pop into place.........or else, just push like hell lol

THe intermediate shaft is the easiest one to put on, maybe you got the wrong one. It should slide in like butter. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif
