interior removal

interior removal
in what order is it easiest to remove the interior? i plan on taking everything except my dash out, and was just wondering if there was any certain order that made it easier. also, is it a bad idea to remove the bumper supports? im trying to get rid of any weigt that i can off of my car.

i want to take as much weight out of the car as possible. don't quite have the money for a swap yet, so this is what im gonna do to make it faster before i have money.

1800 or so is gonna be quite tough without any cutting. My hatch weighs in at 1987 with absolutely no interior except 2 sparco's, a hollow dash, no a/c, no ps, no bumper supports, no headliner, nothing. I'm gonna re-weigh pretty soon since I have some new improvements, but I don't think I'm gonna tip the scales any less than 1965 or so. Good luck though and keep us posted.

IMO removal of the entire interior is not worth the weight you'll be saving. Leave in carpets and plastic panels, they weigh next to nothing and really help reduce the cabin noise.
