Re: interior panels (acme)
if I remember correctly (its been a while) you have to start from the end. IE, the armrest or ebrake cover depending on what you have. Then the shifter cover, then the bottom panel (cup holders). I could be wrong but I think thats how it worked. I have a service manual and I'll look tommorow for you. Don't do anything to fast. LOL.

Ok here it is, I was close. Start with the armrest/ebrake cover. There are 2 screws on each side. Once they are all out slide the cover back to the back seat and it will come unclipped from the shifter cover. Then, there are 2 screws on each side of that cover (if you have a MT take the **** off) and the cover should come off. From there you can take off the cup holder/compartment where the tape player goes. If you need to take the lower dash cover off you'll have to take off the glove box door and lower drivers side dashboard (the one below the steering wheel). Then there are 5 course thread screws (three that go up into the upper dash, and two that go straight in toward the firewall) and 1 fine thread bolt that goes straight in on the right where you removed the glove box. I hope thats good. Give me an email if you ever need more help. I got the manual from my local dealer. When the 99's came out the manual got revised because they were restyled and they were throwing this one out. Always helps to have a friend in the service dept.... See Ya!
