Interior Opinion
Most everyone loves the jdm look but im kinda of bored with my all black interior. so heres something i saw and might cover my arm rests in my doors and headliner in. the fabric is made for head liners. found it in a columbus shop. super different i know just was wondering what the world of HT thought

Just be prepared to change it back if you ever want to sell the car. It will also never hold up like the original fabric/glue. And light colors are doomed to get dirty really quick, you might want to look into something darker IMO.
This thread would also be more appropriate in the Appearance/Cosmetic forums.
Edit: Houndstooth would be baller!

This is not original or new. People (even within the Honda scene) have been covering their door panels, arm rests, and headliners with 'odd' fabrics for years.
That said ... the one of the left.

yeah well its not a daily. the arm rests would be the worst for dirt. the headliner would be alright i think. where i work we use a type of glue adhesive that is awesome. i used it on my jeep two years ago and havent had an issue with it yet. i dont plan on selling it ever. its my baby. id sell my jeep or truck before it
The right one was my first those were just my first two

Louis Vuitton will definitely not be anything different.
If you have to use one of those two, the one on the left will look better, but has more white area to stain.
If you have a '00 Si, then you must have dyed your interior if it's black.

If you must do it, pick the first one, I keep expecting the second one to start moving, looks like an acid trip or something. As others have said though, it wont be original (I don't think you can own a civic and be original anymore), and it'll be hard to keep clean (you'd be surprised at how quick headliners get dirty. I don't smoke, but I can tell the headliner in a smokers car will turn brown)

Ha, well i dont smoke so no biggie there. Yeah i died my vinyls, i had K leather in it stock and then got them recovered and bought new carpeting. it was just an idea its not a must other then the headliner definitely needing replaced.
It blows that originality cannot be found anywhere lol hate it

I kinda liked your first one on the left. Are you going for like an elegant look or like a chill look? Maybe some interior shots of your car could help in the decision making.

I like the first one too. but it has so much white that itll be suspectable of dirt. my interior is all black. everything a semi gloss black. the car in general is low key and the only chrome on the car is on my lip on the wheels. im kinda going with a sharp look. because nothing on the car is overly flashly everything is tinted slightly from the windows to the tail taillights
