Icon2 Interior light question... need help

I just put in a pioneer deh-p7700mp in my EJ8 and im runnin into a problem. My interior light wont come on now when i open up my doors. Its not the wiring cuz it works fine with my stock deck in. So somehow my interior light is connected with the head unit. I got the harness so all i have to do is plug in the stock harness into the adapter. But my civic has 3 plugs a white and 2 green, one slightly larger than the other. But only the white pligs into the adapter. Where did i go wrong? Or do u now how to fix this problem?

Na i didnt blow a fuse... I took put my stock radio back in and the light would work properly. But then i put my pioneer deck back in and now its not again.

I know the factory alarm flashing led i apart of the oem cd player, could that be apart of it. I know someone around here had to run into this problem when switching out there oem deck... So how did you'll fix it?

It looks like you need to install a jumper wire across B8 and B14 of the 16P audio unit connector.

A jumper wire is a short length of wire with a small segment of insulation removed at both ends to expose bare metal. Use the ends of the jumper wire to connect B8 to B14.

Alternatively, cut the B8 and B14 wires at the rear of the connector and splice them together.

RonJ@HT: Was wondering where you found that picture for the security connector. I was having this same issue on a '98 Civic LX after upgrading the stock AM/FM radio with a receiver that I bought from Crutchfield. The Crutchfield tech support guy I talked to told me to short pins B10 and B16. Good thing I decided to double check this first.
thanks for your help.
