like the title says. my interior light doesnt come on when the driver side door opens, but it does when the passenger door is opened. i just bought a new door pin switch from honda, but still no good. any ideas of what it could be? it`s a 92 civic hatch. thanks in advance

If you look inside your door jam, theres that little black button thinger, well that screw that holds it in place is the ground. Make sure theres nothing between the contact points of the screw and the metal peice on the button. Really hard to explain.

i bought a whole new black button thinger from honda..with a new screw..still doesnt work..the thing is..it makes the sound if u leave the key in and the driver side door is opened..its just that the light doesnt come on..the reason i need it is cause my alarm wont sound if somebody opens the driver side door..tia

He just said it worked when he opened the passenger side door.
If theres a fuse for that then i'd start checking fuses my .02

umm maybe its just the wiring...thats not hard to check
