Interior green plug on harness got wet. Code p1382 now
I got a 97 ek hatch dx with a b16a3 swap. Drove in the rain today and for some reason my interior harness got soaked. Its More the green plug coming off the harness that got wet. I Unplugged it for the night so it can dry and also blew it out a bit. Was pretty soaked. I do not know if this is the issue. I've searched on ht and saw a lot of threads on code p1382 but my question is am I throwing this code from my green plug on the interior harness getting wet. I also did the obd1 jumper trick. Got code 9. I did the ckf trick. I know if code 9 popped up I am suppose to depin c1 and c11. I've done that and still no fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running a p73 USDM Ecu to pass ny state inspection. I'm hoping the water did not fry my Ecu or anything like that. Looking forward to responses!!

First disconnect the battery and fix the water leak.
Remove the ECU, inspect, and dry it out.
Unplug wet connectors and dry them by blowing with compressed air.
When completely dry, re-install/reconnect everything, reset ECU, and hope the code doesn't return.
