Default Interesting question about a B16 Integra swap

I searched around but didn't find what I was looking for.

I'll be swaping a B16A2 into a 96 GSR due to financial reasons, but GSR comes stock with resistor box for the injectors where the B16A2 SI don't.

What do I do with the resistor box when I swap in a B16A2? Do I remove the resistor box and wire the injectors straight to the ECU? Or do I leave the injector box in the car and ultilize it? This 96 GSR will also be converted to OBD1 with a P28 ECU if that make a difference.

On a side note, if someone is swaping a GSR motor into a Civic, do they use the resistor box?

Uhh, why are you leaving the stock motor in there? What are you gonna do with the B18C1 that comes with it... are ya' gonna sell it?

The GSR does not come factory with a resistor box. Was the car turbo before hand or did it have peak and hold injectors?

Ya, I just found out something new.

90 to 93 integras have injector resistor box, so does all 90s accords,
but 92 on up civics and 94 up integras use saturated injectors so they DO NOT have injector resistor box. Can anyone confirm that?

I know the 92 up civics don't have resistor box, but I need someone to confirm rather the 94up integra have injector resistor or not???

And as I said before, its not my first choice to put a b16 into a teg, but due to financial reasons, this is what I got, so I am just going to put that in there for now.

Thanks for the help guys.

I will confirm that 92+ Civics DO NOT come factory with resistor boxes and 94+ Tegs DO NOT come factory with resistor boxes

either the car was turbo, or some changed out the ijectors for some reason or another.
And i can also confirm that 92-00 civic s do NOT have resistor boxes.

Thanks that was what I need to know.

to clear up some confusion, I thought all integras come with injector resistor box, which is NOT true. 94 up integras DO NOT come factory with resistor boxes like JDMH22HATCH said

You're all set buddy. The b16 should be a plug and play event into the gsr
