ok so its still useable if you shorten the mid pipe?

what modifications do the seats need, is it like putting 99 rear seats in a 96 coupe, the metal hooks are off?

Actually, I used a 99-00 Si exhaust from the cat back on my 97 Sedan and it fit. I didn't need to lengthen anything. It was probably about an inch short but it is not even noticeable.

front grills are reversed between the coupe and sedan but are interchangable... the coupes use a small emblem on the front where as the sedan uses a larger emblem... same goes with the emblem on the trunk lid. Small emblem on the trunk lid for the the sedan and the larger emblem for the coupe trunk lid.

fenders, hoods, lights, even front and rear bumpers are interchangable between the coupe and sedan. So that means the exhausts are interchangable from y8 to y8 and y7 to y7 respectively... A d16y7 midpipe would be too long for a y8 because there is a cat integraded on the manifold of the y7 where as the cat for a y8 is found just aft of the subframe under the car.

im swaping a y8 and its exhaust from a coupe to a sedan so the exhaust should work then

can i take the whole engine harness all the way to teh ecu from the ex coupe and put it into a lx sedan?

basicly i have a ex coupe parts car, and a sedan with a ls motor, but the y8 is built. taking good parts from the coupe to make one super civic

do you still have the coupe? PM' me, The rear seats wont fit. if your putting the coupes in the sedan, the rear bench will be too short, adn have a gap IMO that doesnt fit. I have been trying to find the same info out,

what i did was go to the junk yard, take a coupe seat, and put it into a sedan, didnt fit, but the upper part of the rear, did fit. modifications will be needed.

Just like the coupe upper rear speaker cover will not fit the sedan...learned the hard way. had to glue it on.

oh and sorry for the 3rd grade english, think i took to much oxycodinea!

You can use the y8 harness if you want, but IMO it might be easier to to run the wires for v-tec, knock sensor, etc. and extend the o2 sensor wire and do the 2-wire IACV mod...

Should you decide to take the y8 harness, there's a flat 4 pin connector that sits beneath the cup holder which is your secondary o2 connector. Another member had problems finding that connecter when they did the same type of swap over from a parts car...

Its not much harder, but it'll definitely be more time consuming sorting everything out...
