Integra speak into CX hatch
Today i went and swapped my oem speaker from my 98 integra ls onto my 95 cx hatch and when i wired everything together, the speaker work but somehow it play very quite. Even when i turn my oem integra CD player to max, i can hear it but it so quite, highly doubt ill be able to hear it if i drive around with window down .
Did i do something wrong or what do i need to do to get it to play at proper voluum, the speaker work fine since it was working 2 day prior to the swapped in my integra

idk....this could be a long shot..but maybe the gauge of the CX speaker wires are smaller..and theres to much resistance ....just a guess idk.

i agree... i know when i got some better speakers for the back of the dx coupe... it made no difference because of the tiny wires... i swear you can floss your teeth with them

Check the fader and balance. With the power that a stock HU puts out, you could probably run 50awg wire.
If that doesn't work, make sure your speakers aren't wired out of phase.
E.g. 1 pushes out while the other one pulls in. This could cause major cancellation.

For some reason, I don't quite understand this. Each channel will have 2 wires. Each speaker is considered a channel. Only one wire should be on each channel. If in serious doubt, run your own wires. The other thing to check is polarity (+/-). You have to have both seakers on the + and the -. Its not meant as a suggestion. Theres a way to check it called 'popping your speakers'. When powered properly, they will sit there. When you reverse the polarity and touch the power wires to them, they will pop out (ever so slightly). As far as wire size, it really has little to do with resistance. Double-blind tests shows VERY FEW people can even start to hear a difference with cheap & monster cable. Resistance comes to play with amperage and bridging channels and amps, as well as sound quality - not sound volume.
BTW there is an audio section on this site.
