Default integra radiator in a eg??

im helping my buddy install the radiator. i heard you need to do some custom mounting and welding. is there anyone out there that has done it before. i need all the help i can get. ideas?pixs?steps? thanks

I've searched for the thread you were talking about and can't find it... I have a 96 hatch and would definitely like to know if the full integra radiator would fit, and what mods would need to be done.

Koala Yummies has a fluidyne teg radiator in his hatch, he had to angle it with some simple brackets but other than that it fits.

Do they all stick up that high? or is that normal?

i'm pretty sure that's just the angle of the pic.. it doesnt stick up much higher than the stock radiator, if at all.

i agree that does look like garbage...not the integra radiator but the shitty made bracket on the driver side thats the worst diy bracket known to man

That doesnt look right at all in the one picture. You have to remove the original brackets that held up the stock radiator and ac condensor and relocate in the proper spots for the teg radiator.

I have one on my ek. It was not that hard at all. I wish I saw the website about 7 months ago, oh well.

pfff u bitches are so picky..oh well..geezz...yes correct is to relocated it and reweld...sometimes the ******* for this site is so tight u cant even stick a needle through it..hmm not that it has one..haha..lata

edit: yes and toms the ****..very clean..he told me how to do it..never got around to it...

For my 5th gen, I had to chisel off the middle mounts and made my own to sit the teg radiator in. I also made 2 mounts for the top and the radiator sits in at the same height. It does not interfere with any of the engine components.
