i have a b16a in my 93 civic cx. my car seems a lot more pokier then it did in my last car. its the same motor except i dont have my dohc vtec distributor. could this cause a loss of hp? also my intake piping is a lot smaller then the last intake i had which was totaled in an accident. my new intake is only 2 1/2" and the other was 3" both cia with k+n filters. i just cant understand. im getting rid of the new intake and buying one for an si not one for every model civic wwhich i have now cause i think im losing some hp there also. i have an act clutch that is the step below the all puck racing clutch. so im not losing it there. please help me!!!!!!!!!!!! also throwing one code for o2 sensor. i need a new one.

when i did my swap, i used my z6 dizzy on my 96 ls, vtec dizyy non vtec motor- i dont know why, but thats what the honda guru here came over and did cause the motor wasnt running right, so maybe it will work?

so your saying you used a z6 (1.6 sohc vtec dist) on a dohc non vtec swap? and it ran funny? then the guy came over and now your running a dohc vtec dist on a non vtec motor? not trying to be an ***, but to me what you said was a little unclear. sorry
