Default Integra LCA's on 92-95 civic

I would like to use the integra GSR lower control arms and rear sway bar on my 94 hatchback. Is this a simple bolt-on affair? The guy that was going install them said I had to change my struts to integra struts as well. Is this true?

he was probably thinking of the ITR rear LCA's, then you would have to.

aren't the rear hatch LCA's the same as the GSR? I used to have GSR shocks on my stock CX LCA's....

I have all 4 corners of GS-R LCAs on my car and the rear GS-R 14mm rear swaybar too.

It's a 100% bolt-on affair.

The CX/DX/VX LCAs have no provisions for any type of factory swaybar. People make kits where the mounts are brackets that go around the LCA, or they require drilling, but factory swaybars won't mount up with CX/DX/VX LCAs.

I've got the factory brackets with the energy susp. d-rings and bushings holding on my ITR rear bar on my '94 dx hatch. It all bolted on. No drilling required on mine. I'm a search here would reveal even the parts you need from ES.

Its all good until you try to fit your old DX Energy bushings into the GSR arms, and they fall through!

I put gsr front and rear brakes (calipers and rotors), lower control arms in the back and upper control arms in front, but my rear oem uppers dont fit correctly with my gsr lca/brake setup. Where it bolts on up top its tightened all the way and it still has alot of play so it slides back and forth when I hit a bump..anyone with hybrid brakes on eg's please respond wth a resonable idea to fix this problem...

Use an adjustable upper link, or more GSR parts. I'd find the former.

I've got stock VX right now, if i wanted to go with sway bars would it be best to just swap out all the LCAs? And they really are just plug and play, undo the three bolts drop out the old one, and install the new LCA? Any extra info you might wish to impart would be cool. Thanks.

Oh yeah, i'm thinking of doing this asap, sorta toqued the head off a bolt today when doing a spring install, so i figure may as well upgrade the LCAs once i hack off the old one at the bushings.

fact: did u know the usdm integra gsr has the same excact suspension/brake setup as the jdm sir eg?

if you ever get a chance to look at the two together do it all the parts#'s are excatly the same.

so if you want a real eg6 sir suspension/brake setup up sswap it all with usdm gsr parts

i bought ITR lower control arms for my 1992 Si hatch and it was a 100% fit/replacement. it took me and a friend like 10-15 minutes to install (rear only; both sides) Apex coilovers and the lower control arms...easy with air tools.
no air tools = more time
hope this helps.
