Default integra guage cluster question

i was looking on a forum and noticed someone on here stuck a gsr guage cluster into the dash of a EG or 92-95 civic hatch, is this simple, or is this a big deal, that is really hard to do, but either way, how do you go about doing it? and will the type r fit too?

I matched up the plug receptacle on my '00 GSR cluster compared to my '92 Ex cluster and the 2 largers plugs do not match. I didnt bother to check my helms as far as what wires go where and didnt even bother to test fit the GSR cluster into the Civic.

Its not too hard if you know which end of a soldering iron to hold. You will have to splice the integra plugs into the civic wiring. A few years ago someone posted a conversion chart matching the Civic and Integra wiring. Search and you shall find.

You can also mate the civic cluster bezel (plastic trim) to the Teg gauges but it takes some carefull fabrication to make it look good.

So yes, Its possible. I've done it as have several other people on this board.

ok, but besides the wiring, does the cluster its self fit into the cluster spot on the eg dash right, or do you have to fabricate anyhting, also, what shoudl i type in to search for when looking for that chart? thanks alot guys

I'm tryint to do the same thing but I haven't found any wireing diagrams for the change and the clusters don't fit. You will need to make new brace to fit it.
