Integra Dash in an EK9 Civic
I thought I would post some pics since I have finally gotten around to finishing the install of a 98 Integra Dash into my 00 Civic hatch. I've searched here before and I've seen it done on the EG's...much easier swap...
I even have the integra door panel on in one of the pics with the handle and door locks working...lots of work...and it looks nice
I hope these are not to big...I tried taking them on a lower setting with my camera...if they are to big any thoughts on how to resize them?
Cheers

Re: Integra Dash in an EK9 Civic (Draggin99Si)
Thank you for the props and yes I am a bit mad, but I had a plan and went with it. Awhile back I was "left" a 98 ITR from a friend of mine. His roomate found him one morning on the couch, here he had a heart-attack and passed in his sleep. His roomate took off in the ITR and spun it into a tree. So after everything was said and done I had a wrecked ITR so I decided to salvage EVERYTHING I could and put it into my 2000 Civic hatch.
The dash is bolted in and in working order, along with the door panels...they...actually one as of now, I will finish the 2nd this week...either way they will be functional as well.
This is by no means a simple weekend project, nor a bolt in process...but the final reason and plan behind my madness makes it worth it to me .
I will be sure to post final assembly pics for you all. SOmeone asked about what process I used to get this far...cut, weld, and grind...along with drill, tap, and bolt. This project takes some time and patience.
Oh yeah...I bought the 00 civic at an auction, the HONDA SPORT sticker came with the car and has been removed

Re: Integra Dash in an EK9 Civic (Draggin99Si)
That would be something I did as well. The civic was hit in the front originally so I cut the front off the Integra rails and all and welded it all back on using the factory spot welds etc. I think it is a nice fresh look for the EK

Wtf is that you got the motor sitting on in that one pic before you put it in?, i really F***** need one of those, lol.
I thought maybe a creeper would do the job for me, since last time i took one out from under the car it broke my little wooden tray with wheels.

Re: (Contender25)
That thing is HOT isn't it??? It is what is left of a bakers tray holder. It use to have a higher section for storing trays of rolls, cookies, etc. I just wanted the bottom half...for the reason you see here.
