integra 94-01 gas tank swap into civic 92-95
We all know that almost all parts interchangeable for integra 94-01 and civic 92-95.
US Integra 94-01 gas tank capacity is 13.2 gal
US Civic 93-95 CX/VX are 10 gal
US Civic 92 CX/VX are 11.9 gal
US Civic 92-95 rest of the models are 11.9 gal
Currently I get city 43mpg and highway 55mpg in a 1995 Honda Civic VX. 1 gal of gas equals to 8lbs
10gal 80lbs of gas
City 430 miles to full tank
Highway 550 miles to full tank
11.9gal 95.2lbs of gas. 15.2lbs difference
City 511.7 miles to full tank
Highway 654.5 miles to full tank
13.2 105.6lbs of gas. 25.6lbs difference
City 567.6 miles to full tank
Highway 726 miles to full tank
I want a bigger gas tank. And the Civic 92-95 11.9 will fit directly without modification. But I wanna know if it's possible to fit the Integra into Civic with little to no modification.

5G USDM Civic Fuel Tank Part Numbers
17500-SR0-315 3DR: VX, CX - Year: 92-95
17500-SR3-306 3DR: DX, Si - Year: 92-95; 4DR: DX, LX, EX - Year: 92-95; 2DR: DX, EX - Year: 93-95; 2DR: EX-R - Year: 93
According to my research, there was no 11.9 gallon Civic CX or VX, since all years 92 through 95 share the same part number.

Hi kaiba, thanks for the info in your thread. I want to install a larger tank on my 95 CX.
Are you sure a civic 92-95 DX or SI gas tank will fit on a 92-95 CX without any need for modification?
Is there some sort of writeup on this topic?
I really want to do this but I need some help.
As far as I know, I should get a 92-95 DX/SI sending unit in order to get a correct reading on my dash cluster fuel gauge. But I don't even know this is true. All I know is that these models DX/SI vs. CX/VX have both different sized tanks and also different part numbers for the sending unit. With the different sized tanks on these two models I assume that's at least what I need to change if I want to install a larger DX/SI tank on my 95 CX.
