Ok, I have read up on how to do this, but have never actually performed the intallation. Does anyone have pics to go along with the intall process? I am planning on helping my friend do his tomorrow, so any replies as soon as possible would be great. Thanks in advance.

It's probably the simpilist thing youll ever do i think my shifter **** gave me more trouble seriously though itll take you about a half hour and its really straightforward you dont need any extra instructions.

dont worry about it man. it will be hella easy. the hardest part youll have with is taking out the stock resonator box.

Thats true, i still have'nt removed mine, it's pain in the ***!! Does any one know how to do it? The pipe goes under the bit where the stock filter box used to be and bends back up, i've tried yanking it off but was afraid of breaking something so just left it.

Ok, well what is the easiest way to get the resonator out? Should I go ahead and jack the car up remove the wheel and fender splash gaurd and go that route, or is there an easier way? Any pics would be helpful.

I am about to go get started on this, so does anyone have a pic of a 5th gen engine bay, that shows me what piece to remove(the resonator)? I don't want to do this wrong to my friends car.

Pull the front bumper off first.

5 screws on the top, 1 under each side of the fender, and 2 10mm bolts under the car.

Then remove the 10mm bolts that hold the resonator box in place (you can see all but 2)

Once that's done, grab the box firmly, and pull as hard as you can, the box will come right out.

Removing the Resonator is the hardest thing IMO. It's not that hard, remove splash guard and then start removing the bolts from up top. Careful not to break those plastic screws that hold the splash guard on, some can be pretty hard to get off though.

Good Luck!!
