Default Intake Temp Sensor Mod?

I've got a 96' Coupe EX Civic and I was wondering if anyone knew about the intake temp sensor mod where u can bridge the connection's with transistor Dealio and gain a little power, since it's going to be forcing the sesnor to think that the air is very cold, therefore adding more fuel. Anyone know what i need to get from RadioShack?

It's a bogus mod. If it were that cool everyone would do it.

Gaining power isn't that easy, all that would do is make your car run rich. And poorly at that.

Yes, bogus *** ebay mod that tricks ur ECU into thinking it's running more air and therefore puts out more fuel. Richens ur car up a bit, u get a bit more power, it's not efficient, it's a stupid way to "gain power", and you probably won't notice any differences (Except your mpg going down) anyways.

On a cold engine start the IATS will cause the ECU to constantly run in open loop, therefore causing a rich condition ideal for good cold drivability. Modding the IATS to constantly run in open loop "rich" would cause nothing but problems, and poor fuel economy and a loss in performance. The only time i could see this mod doing anything is on a vehicle which doesn't calculate a greater volume of air over stock with an aftermarket intake, the mod would cause the vehicle to "richen" the fuel mixture, possibly rising the fuel curve to Stoichiometric for added performance.
