Default Intake Question

Hi I got a 95 del sol vtec (b16a3 motor) and I bought an aem short ram intake somthing I noticed is it idles higher. When its cold it idles at 2000 and then when I put my stock intake on it was at 1500-1700 ish. Also when my car is warm it also idles lower is this normal ?

Is there any CEL? Any problems running besides the idle? The intake shouldn't change the idle.

Hi nope I never got a CEL and I everything was plugged in. Thats the only problem I had besides that fact you could not tell that I had an intake installed.. it never made the sounds like on my buddies hondas..
