Which intake to purchase?

Which intake to purchase?
I have a d17a2 I was wondering which intake everyone would reccomend. Right now I'm leaning toward and iceman intake. however, on the iceman website it comments about 10hp gains and 8lb/ft torque. It does not say to the crank or the wheels (i assume the crank). What intake would u reccomend in the 200-300 dollar range?

personally i think they're all the same, but i'f you're willing to spend $300 then i'd just go with AEM and call it a done deal.

no need to spend $300 on an intake...
i'm running a fake j's pipe - $20 shipped with a K&N filter - $45 shipped, and i still think i paid too much for that damn set-up

I'd say either just do a K&N drop in filter in your stock airbox or get a short ram, use the arm of it and run it to your air box with a K&n drop in filter.

pipe with hoses and clamps from ebay.... search "big chamber intake" or "fat intake"
K&N from http://www.nopi.com
I would've saved even more with a cheaper filter but oh well.... now i just need a decent mount for it so it will stop smacking my hood

$300 Could get you a ARC, or a Carbon fiber Pipe to a Comptech Ice Box, Or Possibly some JDM Intake... (you know)
But I'd spend $100 on some e-bay no-name pipe and filter and call it a day
