ebay intake **** is not carb legal... i'd get a cold-air intake with a bypass valve.

A bypass valve highly reduces the odds of hydrolocking your engine if you drive through a deep puddle or something. In my opinion, you're better off buying a SRI than a CAI with a bypass valve.

If you're concerned about smog/cops, then buy a used AEM intake. Just make sure the filter is relatively clean, and you should be fine.

Just get an AEM short ram. You can forget about the cops and never have to worry about rain. People who got ebay crap have never been screwed by a cop for the illegal intake. Just get an AEM on ebay or something. I got a brand new one from a fellow tech member for 60 bucks. Just post up in classifieds and hope for the best.

just get a cheap ebay cai and put carb sticker on it if you have too. all cai systems are basically the same...aem is just one of them , find a cheap carb passed system and good to go
