hey guys,

since I know almost nothing about Honda engines, I need to ask a few questions.

well just one. I have a d16 motor, I was wondering if I could change my intake manifold to the one from a CDN si engine, not too sure what the code is? would this make for better power? would this be an expensive mod to do?

also what does the "pullies" do in terms of power increase on a Honda motor. I remember noticing a difference on my Stang when I put them on..So I was hoping for the same result with my Civic.

as long as it is D series then it should fit.

thats a good question dude, i've been thinking of changing my intake manifold also... and like you i am wondering if there is an increase in power from it...

I bought an aftermarket intake manifold (jg victor x) and throttle body (70mm bbk) i can't begin to tell you the increase in power that u feel...

the 96-00 EX- D16Y8 manifold is the best flowing stock SOHC IM. You'll have to use your stock fuel rail and injectors, if they fit, because you;ll be running p28, right?? Check out the SOHC build up post Spade started, everything you need to know
