I swapped a d16y8 into my 98 manual DX that originally had a d16y7. I reused my intake manifold at first but I just got the proper intake manifold and I had one small question. I don't have all the original hoses and stuff, I'm wondering if I have this right. The 2 connections that I circled in red go from one straight to the other. Is that correct?

EDIT: Also forgot to mention I have a CEL for a VTEC malfunction, I have a VAFC connected, would that make me throw a CEL? Not sure if the VTEC works yet haven't taken the car out

Did the Y8 TB and IM come from manual or auto Civic? ...from 96-98 or 99-00 Civic?

What is the actual CEL code? Are the VTEC connectors unplugged?

The intake manifold came from a manual D16y8, I'm pretty sure it was a 96-98. The vtec wiring is all in place and it is wired to the VAFC. The CEL was P1259. I'm asking the guy I bought the intake from to confirm if it's a 96-98
