I have recently done a engine swap and I think I have finally figured out the last problem. On my D16z6 there is a hose on the bottom of the intake manifold that is hanging down and not connected to anything. I will try to post a picture but it will be later but if anyone knows where this hose may go that would help. or what hose it is?(coolant or vacuum)?

well if its off the manifold, its most likely a vaccum.

What car did you swap this into?

I took it out off and put it into a del sol. I just needed a new engine fast because my awesome cold air intake sucked up water and snapped one rod and bent two others. If it is a Vaccum hose, should it be connected to anything?

There are quite a few vaccuum/coolant lines on the manifold. Lemme see if i can find a diagram.
