Default intake manifold

i have 1.5L civic, i whant change intake manifold and set manifold from 1.6VTI. must i chane ECU to set manifold from 1.6VTI?

a 1.5l.....witch i think is a d15 from what you saying ....
The intake manifold witch is off a b16 (VTI)...does not fit...

D series dont fit with B series

1.6 SOHC VTEC manifold is also different? could i fit other manifold on stock ECU? or i have to change ECU at least

I believe you're talking about the JDM 92-95 VTi, the one which also came with a SOHC engine (let me know if I'm mistaken plz). The VTi that you're talking about has the JDM D15B engine, with an intake manifold similar to the D16Z6, if not the same.

Anywho, if this is the change you're looking for, I don't think you need to change the ECU.

no there is no need to change the ecu, just put the intake manifold on and adjust your idle and things of that nature cause i put a huge skunk 2 intake manifold on my jdm d15b and i had no problems but a high idle and i just adjusted, dont waste your time with changing the ecu
