Intake mani
Just picked up a farely stock (motor wise) 99 ek hatch and was wondering about a farely simple mod. I wanna do a cold air intake but wasnt sure if i NEEDED to buy an aftermarket intake mani or if i could just install it from the stock airbox? Is this a dumb question? positive feedback please, this is the first time i will have built a honda my self, Ive always bought them fairly moded. Thanx!

Re: Intake mani
My manifold doesn't look like the one u had the picture of at the top,its different under the little black box because the box is straight off the top like between the mani and hood not off the side

Re: Intake mani
Yeah you have a d16y7. Same as what I used to have. You just need to buy an intake for that motor. Just remove the intake system to expose the throttle body. It will stand straight up rather than to the side like the other ones. Look at the first pic on the page.
