Intake air temp sensor = heart of problem???
Ok just got my car back from the shop, they replaced my whole engine harness becuase mine was burnt in a fire. Ok so the wires are good now, but after a certain point my car still hesitates. I looked at the intake air temp sensor and the tip of it is semi-melted. Could this cause it to send whack signals to the computer causing the hesitation? When i tried running with it unplugged the car died so it must play a big role in the engines performance. What do you think? The computer throws a CEL but I can't tell if it is a 1 or a 10.

Go to a junkyard and pocket one and plug it in to see if it solved the problem. Yeah i dont know if the IAT would cause your symptoms.

No iat will not make your car lag. try checking your plug wires, air intake and plug wires
