Which intake is better the AEM COLD AIR or AEM V2

i recently purchased a V2 and it was damn worth the money.. no complaints against cold air but the V2 is great =]

doesnt v2 come with the oil free filter because i have the regular aem cai and the filter needs to be cleaned and oiled.

i have a V2, and it is pretty nice. My girlfriend at the time bought it for me, but if I had to buy one, I would probably just stick to a AEM shortram. And my filter is oil free.

yea, having to take the bumper off to clean the filter is a pita.

its not that hard, just peel back that plastic **** under the car and inside the wheel well.

well just look... lot. cut ur wheel all teh way to the left, pull back the plastic splash guard covering where th filter is, and voila, easy access. Unless u tightened the bolt/screw donw facing out towards the front it might be a little hard to get to.

sounds pretty simple, i think im going to check it out. just the plastic part inside the wheel or do i need the one under the bumper too?

when did the v2 come out? i dont remember seeing it when i got my cai.

next car, i would rather just get ebay pipe with a filter. but i guess the carb sticker might come in handy if you get pulled over.

lol, no, that does sound Mad TyTe but we both know that anybody that thinks something is the best just because of the name is a fuckingg moron
the only reason i even bought it was because i have 3 friends that have a V2 and 2 of them had cold air before and they say they see a difference.. idk, i just went with what was strongly recomended, not by what the ******* name was.

let me guess you and your freinds also beleive that it gave u 15 hp to.......if ur freinds hopped off a cliff and said "its fun try it" would ya.......no ur freinds are dumb ur dumb quit wastin that much money on intakes.
