Insurance with a CF Hood?
#4
shouldn't be a problem but be sure to purchase After Market insurance! Otherwise they WILL NOT cover any aftermarket add-ons. This only increases your monthly payments by $10-20 bucks. Well worth it JMHO.

correct. without aftermarket insurance they will not pay for anything after market on your car when damaged. and of course take pics and keep receipts of everything to insure youll get money for it god forbid you crash it.

Re: (deepnite)
i hit a 10 point buck like 3 months ago, and it destroyed my CF hood and what do you know... my insurance paid for it along with my ebay jdm head lights and type r grille, but make sure when you apply or whatever you do for insurance you tell them that you have it so they will know and pay for it good luck

If you figure a stock hood will cost around $399 plus the 3.5 hours or so to paint it, you can just buy a c/f hood. That's what i did at least. It helps to deal with a bodyshop you know that'll take care of your wants.
