Default installing a torque damper

the instructions say to take the bolts off the motor mount bolts and i was wanting to know if i needed to suport the engine when that part of the engine is not mounted?

I would, they're are the tranny mounts, but i'd definately at bolt up the chain of a engine hoist to give it supprt.

just put a jack and block of wood under the oil pan if you're worried
