Hrm...Be prepared to break some bolts and have replacements on hand. Dont be surprised if u need to heat up any to get them loose. Work with the car on jackstands . Spring compressor . And thats about all I can think of. Good Luck

you will need a spring compresser, a friend. It took me about 6 hours to install mine. It was my first time. It took me about an hour to take out brake line braket from shock. Easist way to take out is vise grip. I didn't have a vise grip so i had to take to local auto show to borrow vise grip.

If this is your first time, it'll take a nice amount of time. 6-7 hours sounds about right, and yes, with a 93 you will run into some older, rusted bolts that are hanging on for life. TAKE YOUR TIME. It's better to get it done right, than to get it done fast. You will need a friend. I had a spring compressor with me, but I didn't use it, even though you should, just to be safe. Good luck on the install, and have fun.

I have never used a spring compressor and things have worked out fine. I did however use an impact wrench. You shouldn't need anything but normal sockets and ratchets as well as a good breaker bar/specialty pipe. And like others said, since its your first time dont plan on a super fast intall, take your time, and make sure you get everything back together and all bolts tq'ed. Good luck

Eat before you start. One time I ate in the middle and threw up that night. I don't know if it had anything to do with it but throwing up sucks major *****.

yup, dont even mess with taking off the rear tires, you dont have to.
I installed ground controls on my sol in 4-1/2 hours, by myself cause all my friends are bitches who dont like to get thier hands dirty....
with air tools its not too bad, cause most of the bolts were caked with rust, and the front springs were a pain to squeeze down out from the engine bay and out of the fender without denting or scratching anything....but the rears drop right down easy.

well if you was to put the camber kit on at the same time as the strut and springs, ride around for about a week or two so they can break in and then get an alignment.
