Use a A/C bolt to pop out the "Bitch Pin"...Nuff Said. Everything else is straight forward.

Different Tranny? Please explain.

H22 doesn't have shift linkages, they have shifter cables. the cables might be stretched.

in order to swap the cables, most ppl usually run them through the firewall, if that is the case for your sol, then you are going to need to take out your dash and everything.

if they made the hole through the fire wall then nope, you'll have to take the dash out for that one, if they ran the cables under the car then you can just swap them out, chances are they didn't do it that way.

I wasn't talking anything about what you said so no sense in getting smart, My statement was to the operator hints the reason I quoted him NOT YOU, look at where it was posted RIGHT UNDER HIS POST. That's why I was stating the H22 doesn't have linkages.
