Installing powerlocks with FACTORY keyless entry on 96-00 Hatchback????
I have heard from many different people that the keyless entry system is run through the stock head units on 96-00 Civics. Has anyone themsevles or known someone, who has installed power locks in their hatchback or non power lock card, and then been able to use the headunit and factory keyless remote to lock/unlock doors?
Very intersted in doing this, if it is at all possible

1) you're asking in the wrong forum
2) why god why would you want to use the OEM headunit keyless system when it would be easier/cheaper/simpler/better to get an aftermarket keyless entry system?
I'm not 100% but I think only the 96-98 Civics had they keyless built into the HU. That was a huge retarded mistake on Hondas part.

keyless is in the factory radio... u can get the factory radio and use a met 80-1720t harness... then all u have to do is hide the factory radio. i've done it a few times. ur dome light is also affected if u remove the factory hu
