Installing an oil pressure gauge (D16Y7)
I just purchased a digital oil pressure gauge for my '97 Civic LX (Since it did not come with one stock), but the instructions that came with it are poorly translated at best, with crudely-drawn pics, so figuring it out from them is pretty much impossible - I've searched around for answers online, but again, they seem to be vague when it comes down to the actual wiring, etc - I have no clue where the sending unit goes (Or if there is even one already on my car?), or if I can tap into a line behind the cluster like I was advised to do for the tach I also got? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Okay. You're going to need either a sandwich adapter or you're going to have to get a brass fitting and tee off of the existing oil pressure sender on the back of the block.

if you are just putting in the gauge, you dont need a sandwich adapter, you need the adapter I posted, you unscrew the original warning light switch, screw in the adapter then your sender, it's best to run a line to the firewall and put the sender there, since there probably isnt much room

Guess I'll have to order one - I'm surprised Advance / AutoZone / Pep Boys didn't have them :-/

well you still need one of these as the threads are still 1/8 BSPT, and the original sender will still have BSPT threads which wont screw into the 1/8 NPT threads on the T without damage, I ordered a pressure switch from autometer or something that came on at a more realistic low pressure, something like 20 not 3 psi like original
