installing new brake kits on the eg
i got SI front and rear disc brakes for my eg civic. my only question is will i need to refill and bleed the brake lines, and if so how do i do that.

Yep you will.
Bleeding brakes:
Start with Right rear, then Left rear, then Right front, then Left front.
Have a friend pump several times halfway, then press and hold down on it, open up the bleeder valve, let the air out, close it up. Let the assistant release the pedal.
Repeat until all air is out of every corner of the car.

Yeah, do the furthest from the master cylinder to the closest. Be sure to bleed with an air-tight hose which is routed from the bleeder valve to a container which has fluid in it already (hose is submerged in container), so it doesn't suck air back in, only fluid... also be sure the reservoir stays full. No use in sucking air in the other side.
