If you cant tell anyone here what a multi-meter is, or how to use one, stop what you are doing, and have a shop install your alarm. I've done 2 alarms in different cars, and they both came with directions..........try reading them?

Best advice is to get a shop to install it.

I would agree. I bought an alarm, and read the directions, then got advice from teh audio/security forum, and then crawled under my dash - I came to 1 conclusion: F This. I'd rather pay someone else to do it, and then maybe make it more discreet once they are done.

If i'm not mistaken to get the insurance from viper if your car does get stolen it has to be installed by a certified installer.
