installing a master cyclinder on a 96 ex
i was just wondering if i needed to grease any parts of the cylinder before i install it. i searched but i couldnt find anything about it..i was asking because on the pedal side of the firewall it looks like theres alot of grease lobbed on there..thanks in advance!!

k i jus finished install my new master clutch cylinder...tried bleeding it untill i found out my slave cylinder was leaking...g00oo0sh!!...anyways..the instuctions helped..it was cakeee..thanks alot again!

Yeah you usually replace both the master and slave cylinder together. Whatever caused one to fail could just as likely cause both to fail in a liquid system connected together.
