Default Installing H emblem

Couldn't find anywhere on how to install the H emblem on the trunk of a 98 civic. I took off the old one because someone tried to steal it and basically broke half the emblem. When I took it off there's still the blue pieces on the trunk. Do I take those off with pliers?

The blue bits are where the little nubs of the emblem press into to make them stay put. Leave them there. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what you're referring to!

So Honda doesn't glue the badges, they are using pins? Do you think that's also the case for a del Sol front hood "H"? I always debadge my cars, but if it's gonna leave holes I'll just plastidip it.
