I recently bought a set of foglights for my 96 civic. I've got the wiring from the engine bay, but i'm having problems wiring the second harness thats from the underdash. heres a pic...
i don't know which connector goes where. any help would be appreciated!

For the 99-00, but looks to be the same. Since the older ones were discontinued, I couldn't find the instructions at any of the online stores.

I'm pretty sure the biggest connector connects to another connector that's taped behind the fuse box somewhere. The red and white ones plug into the fuse box but it looks like you'll have to cut those connectors off of them. This should help you:

Update:
I got everything hooked up in the engine bay and the underdash wiring.
the problem is that the foglights don't work.
relay is clicking, the switch has illumination and lights up when pressed. what could be the problem??

keep the connectors, on, i just did this install. sorry no pics, you'll put one in the fusebox but the other is tucked up in the corner near the clutch pedal, up high. you might have to remove some tape to see it but it's there. It's real hard to see but it is there.

ok so ive had this problem. you might want to check all the sockets that connect the wiring harness to the actual fog lights. make sure theres power goin to them. voltmeter would ideal . also check the lights themselves. but my problem was the ground. the ground wire is soo small for both of the lights. best bet...make your own ground and then check them out. hope that helps.

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
checked inline fuse, still good. ground is good too.
don't have another h3 bulb handy....damn...
basically my friend and i were trying to see if the foglights would turn on so i quickly attached the ground to a part of the chasis, and it did, but when i found a permanent place to put the ground it didn't work.
could a bad relay cause this?

Re: (pinoyboy204)
bad relay maybe...seriously make your own ground to run from each fog light. i did the same thing that you have done. i tried a bunch of things and only one light would come on or what not but both would not come on at the same time. everything was good and fine, fuses, relay, switch, wires, sockets. so what me and my boys ended up doin was running a ground from both foglights because the original ground wire is soo small and we all didnt think that it could handle all the power from BOTH foglights on. (it could handle one at a time but not both). hope that helps. good luck

It is very hard to solve such problems without a volt meter in hand. You can get some real cheap and they will help so much.
Turn on the switch and see where you have a 12 volt difference coming out of which plug.
cheers and good luck.

Check the ground at a few other places. I used one of the factory ground points where something (horn maybe?) was attached.
