installing a/c in my civic, what do i need?
okay i'm putting a/c in my 94 civic si, what do i need. my car came without a/c, someone took it out. i have the r134a evaporator,complete lines install already. i knoe i will need a condensor and fan and receiver drier, is that it. also do i have to get the r134a receiver drier or will the r12 do. is that all that i need?

You need to get the dryer and compressor for the r134 system the fittings are different on the r12 . you will also need the belt tensioner pulley. An easy way to tell if the car cam with ac look at the climate controls do you ave a ac button on the far right or just a raced block off plate. more then likely if you only have the plate it didn't have ac in it. Also if you have the plate use a small flat blade screw driver and slip it under the plate to pop it off. then all you need from the donor car is the little gray button cover the switch is already in place there is no need to change out the control box

kewl, yea i forgot to put compressor, i will need a r134a compressor am i correct. also for the belts, what do i need, my motor is a 99 gsr, do i get the b-series a/c belt or does it matter. i still have the stock plley unit so theres' still the a/c pulley on it.
