Unless you get a whole new factory fpr, you can't do that because you have to hack in half the oem fpr in order to fit the b&m unit on.
How much are you tightening and loosening the unit? You dont need to loosen/tighten it too much in order to see the gauge rise or fall.
I would contact the company to see if you could get another brass bolt and while you are at it ask them what the problem could be. Good luck.

You did something incorrectly, whether it was in your installation or your adjusting. Were you turning the lock-nut, or the actual adjustment screw? As others have said, contact B&M (or the place that you bought it) and try to get a replacement piece sent to you ASAP.

sell it and buy an aem fpr. i just finished building my ls vtec and set the fp at 60lbs. and it jumped up to 90 by itself and then went down to 50
I never had this problem with the aem i used to have.

This post started a long time ago...but I'm looking into a B&M fuel pressure regulator and was wondering if it would adapt to a d16z6's stock fuel rail?

Yes, it utilizes the bottom half of the STOCK FPR, you physically have to cut the OEM one in half and replace the upper half with the B&M unit.

Is the process of cutting and replacing parts of the stock fuel pressure regulator worth the work? $56 is a good price, has any one had problems with them? Pro's, Con's...anyone...

I have done two of them and had no problems with them whats so ever. For the price they are hard to beat.
For the guy having problems go to the junk yard and pull a stock one.....they cant cost more then like 10 bucks from the yard.
