Installing auto d16y8 intake mani on manual 5 spd car, HELP!
Im helping out a friend he has a d16y8 running with a z6 intake manifold, he has a d16y8 intake mani but its for an automatic, i know the auto one didnt come with the iacv on the IM, so im looking for a descriptive how to write up on everything to make the auto IM fit on the 5 spd car. thanks.

Use the z6 throttle body I think? It has the IACV on it already, you just need to hook up the harness.

the z6 tb doesnt have the iacv, i know the iacv needs to be mounted on the auto mani, but is that it? just tap out the holes and mount the iacv and done?

That is all I did. I had my machine shop drill the 2 holes (1 from the tb side to the IAC, an 1 all the way through the mani. Then they just drilled an tapped the screw holes.
