installing arp head studs,all of the studs are not even is this safe

Default installing arp head studs,all of the studs are not even is this safe

i wanna make sure before i put the head back on i cleaned out all the wholes but some of the studs sit different,is this safe and normal?

do the studs have to be all the way in the block,i tightened them with the allen wrench till they got hard to turn,is it ok to insall head with them not in all the way

whats the trick to cleaning the wholes?i dont have an air compressor

get a metal coat hanger, cut it so you have a srait long peace and dig around in there. after that blow into the hole.

did you torque them down?

no its not. clean it out they should all go to the same depth. how many of them are off?

take them out and place them side by side. are they all the same length?

they are all the same length out of the box.im using arp 208-4303,i have B18/b16 head.the arp studs thread in so hard and the oem gsr head bolts go in so easy.its like there not the right ones

maybe they arent maybe the place you got them from mixed them with those if you get what im saying

puor some brake cleaner in ther a small amount got a straight coat hanger in there like they said and dig around then take a vacum and hold it to the hole

i got one of those long dentist tubes from wally world and used that it worked when i had to replace the studs on my truck and they wouldnt go in all the way

try putting the threaded side of the arp stud to the threaded side of the stock bolt. they should mesh.

other than that clean the holes.

the arps are a little longer than the oem gsr bolts

So we aren't suppose to tq them down to 12 lbs? Just hand tighen them?
Asking for a D16Y8 motor.
