Installing amber corners tomorrow, need advice.

Bought my first mod for my 95 civic which are vision style amber corners(i'm a 17 yr old on a budget https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif ). anyway i would rather install them myslef as it's cheaper and i wanna learn to work on my car for myself. this should be fairly easy for a first timer like me right? any help would be appreciated. i should only need simple hand tools since it's basically direct replacement too i hope. and how long do you think this should take? thanks in advance for any help.

yea..my first mod so im pysched...next i'm prob gonna try and save for some new rims and tires...i was either thinking maybe going for 15 or 16 inch rota circuit 10's since i like how they look. or i can save some cash and go for some 99-00 SI rims. any suggestions. oh and the motor swap will happen during the winter while i'm attending Lincoln Tech.

dont forget that once you get the corner out to twist the bulb socket clockwise... and repeat... and the corner will side into a bracket as well

Re: (spock_rocker)

They are super easy to replace!

Just one screw...then slide it straight out...replace bulb and reinstall... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Yo man, I'm 16 and tackled tokico illuminas and new springs as my first mod. I had no trouble so you certainly should have no trouble with some corners https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif.

blaster834 07-30-2004 08:11 PM

...wow

Tad 07-30-2004 08:49 PM

Good day, the process is as follows!

you have a corner light,

it is held on by a screw

you remove said screw,
remove said corner light.

NOW you WILL have to tackle the bulb removal matrix.
It throws some for a loop but I think you can handle it.

the bulb will require a twisting motion to become dislodged from its housing.

ONCE DISLODGED
you SHOULD be able to pull the stock light free and clear!!

if you've come this far I believe that you should have the dexterity to uncover the reinstallation process upon your own accord.

good luck to you sir.

3.point.2 07-30-2004 09:25 PM

you can do it in a few minutes unless youre like me and you get ones that dont fit

street educated em1 07-30-2004 10:25 PM

Yeah the corners are very easy to do, and my opinion on the rims, get the rotas in 15" they will look alot better than some beat SI rims

to each their own, i got my si rims and they look nice, gonna look nicer on the car, if i had rotas, they would be my winter wheels https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

rotas are the choice of n00bs arent they, real ballers have mug3n or sp00n w3rd!

Everyone with Rota wheels is a n00b? I don't think so. There are smarter people than you on this board who actually track their car who ride on Rota wheels.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gif for saying Rota's are the choice of n00bs.
