Installed new Si cluster in my car and all gauges work but speedo and odometer...WTF?
I have a 2000 Civic Si and I sold my original cluster in January and installed a CTR cluster. The CTR cluster worked great, but I got rid of it because I couldn't read it and I got pulled over twice for speeding. I buy a new cluster from Powerslide360 and it takes a month to get here but it finally does and I install it. I notice every gauge on there works but the ODO and Speedo. So I check connections, check fuses, and make sure the speed sensor is still plugged in. Nothing. So, my question is this.......is it possible that just that gauge is broken or could it be the speed sensor? Also, is it possible that it is something else? I bought a new climate control as well and that doesnt work either, but when the top plug on that is removed the vents go on full blast. WTF and help!

Hmm, how exactly could it not be wired right? Not trying tos ound ignorant or anything. ALso, I noticed that it had white face gauges at some point because the screws on the cluster have some of the paint missing.

I just hope it is the climate control that is fucked up not the wiring in the car.

I think it is most likely with your speedo needle.
When I rolled up my cluster to keep my orginal km on the cluster I had to remove the needle. After I put it back on it didnt work neither did the odo. I put the cluster in but didnt put the plastic cover back on so I could play with it. I just had to push the speedo so I was at the proper speed and it just started to record my speed. I had a friend lead and keep a constist speed so I could judge it. It worked prefectly after that and the odometer started to work also.

pm me if you need more details.

Doesn't that just **** you off!? I made the mistake of putting some overlays on my gauges and it did the same thing. It made me buy a new cluster for my car. Never again.

Found out what it was last night. I removed the guage clsuter and noticed one of the four screws that hold it in was missing. Replaced and she works. Weird.
