Installed My Cusco 4 Point Roll Bar
Installed my Cusco 4 point chromoly Roll Bar last night. Was pretty straighforward, just wish I had some help. My wife held two bolts for me, but the rest was by myself. Getting the holes in the right place on the sidepaneld took some inginuity, but I got it done. Just need to trim them out with some rubber molding.
Pretty neat that I still got my backseats in there too. I have took people in back a whole 2 times since I got the car, so it is a non issue. I will get some pads and velcro straps to carry in my truck in case someone has to ride back there .
My seats dont fold down anymore either, well they go forward about 6 inches.
The cage itself is really light weight. If I had to guess, it should be under 25lbs. Turning feels more solid, but I dont know if that is the placebo effect or what.

Nice, I just dropped my car off tonight for a custom welded in roll bar install that is going to be started tomorrow. I will post some pics when it's done. BTW how much did that run you?

Thanks for the complements guys. I bought the roll bar off a dude locally. he had it on partstrader and here on hondatech. I paid 400 for it.
I like this over the autopower stuff because of a few reasons. To the best of my knowledge, autopower doesnt make a bolt in out of chromoly. And we all know how much those autopower roll bars weigh.
I can pick up the main hoop with one hand very easily. And the other bars weigh probably 3-5lbs each im guessing. Didnt have any kind of scale handy.
now all I need is a motor....but that is next months project

hells yeah man! no doubt it must be super light! that's a plus!
my autopower must have been twice that weight... and my autopower was $450 shipped with a harness bar. you got a good deal it looks like, nice hatchy hatch too

thanks, I wish I had a harness bar. Probably going to get a removeable one fabricated somewhere.

Skinny? Well, its chromoly so its also lighter and stronger then mild steel cages that have the "bigger" tubes

I have never seen them for sale at any shop online. You might want to try BCautodesign (canada cusco importer) and Bozz Performance (united states cusco importer).
Not too many of these floating around for hondas.
