install a/c into the EK civic
Hi guys,
Under very fortunate circumstances, I have a complete a/c system from a DC2 integra.
Does anyone know if it is hard to install that into my 96 EK hatch? Lots of modification needed?
thanks very much in advance!

Re: install a/c into the EK civic (energie)
dc2 a/c assembly is different then civic in many ways.
the condensor first of all in a dc2 is a sequential setup with the radiator. in a civic however, if you have ac, the condensor and radiator are run parallel to each other. thus, the condensor will not fit, go and take a look. only way that condensor will fit is if you have the integra radiator, and you drill out the radiator and ac mounts and modify/weld them back on.
obviously, the ac lines are going to route differently as a result also.
compressor isn't going to fit on your current bracket either, unless you have a swap, but if you did you wouldn't be asking this question because you'd know the answer.
to put it simply, probably better off getting the civic ac system.
