Insanely High Idle
Alright well for starter's I have a 1992 Civic SI, with a B18C( Integra Type R) and a B16 head. Fully built bottom end with J.E low compression piston's (9-1). Eagle Rod's, Walbro 255 High Pressure Fuel Pump, RC 750cc injector's. Garrett t3/t4 60 trim turbo (18psi of boost), tial sport wastegate, greddy type S blow off valve, tuned on eCtune by a guy named DK. And I'm probably missing a few thing's. My problem is when i first turn on my car it idle's at 3,000-4,000 it range's. Once the car get's warm to operating temp's it idles at 2,000 rpm's. It's really high and you can imagine how loud the car is. I don't know what to do to get the car to idle down, i've turned the idle screw all the way in and it didn't change any. Have any idea's how to make the car idle lower?

Re: Insanely High Idle
sounds like you have a massive vacuum leak, is the fitv leaking(put your finger over the center whole behind the two screw access plate, there should be no vacuum once the car has reached operating temp. If you've bypassed that valve and no coolant is running through it that may be contributing to your problem(it isnt heating the wax plunger and therefore unmetered air is being allowed into the manifold), or if the car isn't warming up correctly. Also check all the other possible vacuum leaks and the map sensor for proper voltage at idle.

I'll try that tommorrow it's 1:41am and my car is running a straight 3" pipe so I can imagine my next door neighbors wont like the sound of it to much lol. Yeah I've also noticed i'm missing quite a few vacuum hoses, so I'ma buy some and put em on there, then see wat it idles at then try the fitv

also, and this should be done first, make sure that the throttle cable isn't adjusted too tight and that the throttle plate screw(which isn't meant to ever be adjusted and is different from the base idle adjustment screw) hasnt been messed with. You want to make sure that the throttle plate is fully closed, meaning it stops just before contacting the bore.
