Innovative Motor Mounts 60A
Ok before everyone jumps on me and say SEARCH I have searched this site and havent found the info Im looking for. I have an 00 EM1 and my mounts are shot. I have nasty wheel hop when launching and shifting into 2nd. My friend is a mechanic for VW and he drove my car the other day and said it was really bad. He says if i change my mounts to some aftermarket mounts like innovatives I would see a noticable difference in performance. Is this TRUE? Also I know that everyone says aftermarket mounts vibrate alot. Are the 60a mounts by innovate really that bad. Anyone with them on their car right now? Let me know guys thanks.

60a cause little body vibration. With the higher grade ones you get a stiff motor and lots of body vibration. 60a should be good if you plan to make minimal power or looking for something better as stock replacements

Probably not.
It will help attribute to a better structure FOR acceleration
But mounts do not provide any acceleration increases
What kind of build/motor power are u trying to get .getting the right mounts is a good step in engine building

new motor mounts will help alot if ur stocks are torn. when i did it to my ek civic the acceleration was alot smoother and when i shift it goes right in with out minimal motor movement not bad for 40$.

If u aren't doing anything to serious but later making decent power I highly suggest you get the 75a. They hold very well but creates minimal body vibration. But not enough to **** you off. Prolly won't even notice if u have full interior.
75a is gonna be my choice. 60 is a little better then stock and for 20$ more u can get a better set. (Rear and 2 sides) with 75a front torque mount is optional to use

you get 3 mounts with the 60a kit as well..... the 60a is just teh stiffness of the poly insert right... or am i mistaken.

Np.glad to share my knowledge.
Also plan for the future . If u plan on building up to a 200whp level or a very torque motor 75a might be better.
If u already know what u are aiming for then u can use this information accordingly.
