Inner tie rods...advice.

Inner tie rods...advice.
2000 civic coupe. I've got a lot of play in the steering wheel while driving. I raised the car up, and while a friend moved the wheel a little i can feel a good amount of play at the inner tie rods. I've done a fair share of mechanics, but never really attempted inner tie rods. Anything I should know? Anyone replaced them before?

not sure about your gen, but i know their a PITA on 92-95 unless you got those cool special tools they make for them, which i didnt have while workn on my gf's 4dr

its not that bad.. if you have the extra cash do the outers aswell..
you should book yourself for about 3 hours of work if your working on the ground...
its a honda there easy to do ...
